Sean Hoverson has attended hundreds of hockey games. Like most fans, he didn鈥檛 wear hearing protection, nor did he recognize the need. Conducted over a season of Colorado Eagles games, his doctoral scholarly project, 鈥淪pectator Noise Exposures During a Season of Minor League Hockey,鈥 revealed the risk.

When Lindsey (鈥10,鈥14) and Casey (鈥10) Goodman stepped onto the University of Northern Colorado鈥檚 campus in Greeley in 2006, they both felt an immediate connection to the school. Lindsey, hailing from Palisade, Colorado, knew she wanted to teach, and Casey, also from Colorado, wanted to study political science.
