The University of Northern Colorado has had a lot to celebrate throughout 2022. Relive some of the achievements and progress µÛÍõ»áËù students, faculty, staff and community members have made in 2022, including a collection of photos throughout the year.

Thanks to the generous support of µÛÍõ»áËù alumni, friends, parents, faculty, staff, and community members, the 2022 Giving Bearnanza (Nov. 29 through Dec. 6) raised more than twice the funds as the prior year’s campaign.

For six decades, the University of Northern Colorado’s School of Nursing in the College of Natural and Health Sciences has had a strong history of educating nurses to provide compassionate, courageous and competent care to patients across Colorado and beyond through research and practice.

Along with the thousands of students learning on the University of Northern Colorado’s campus this year, there are about 125 of them that look a little different. If you’ve seen them walking through buildings or playing on Gunter Green, you may have noticed they're about half the age of a typical µÛÍõ»áËù student and their peals of laughter are an entertaining and welcome reminder of just how much fun school can be.

The University of Northern Colorado is hosting its fall commencement ceremonies on Friday, Dec. 9 and Saturday, Dec. 10. Approximately 927 students will graduate this fall with around 526 earning bachelor’s degrees and around 401 earning a master’s specialist or doctoral degree.

Graduate students from the University of Northern Colorado are putting their scholarly skills on display during the fall 2022 Graduate Research Symposium on Tuesday, Dec. 6. This year’s symposium is the first of its kind, combining the university's biannual Graduate Research Evening with its second annual Northern Colorado Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition.

Since he was very young, Daniel Farr, DMA, has had a love for music. He found the University of Northern Colorado the best place to share that love while combining two of his passions: conducting bands and teaching.
