Since I announced that we would begin transitioning courses to alternate delivery, one of the most frequently asked questions I have received has been what will happen to Spring 2020 Commencement.

We have all used the word unprecedented more times than we can count lately, but few words better reflect the recent changes in our personal and professional lives.

Over the past couple weeks, we have all experienced unprecedented changes in our work and personal lives that would have been unimaginable just a short time ago.

We know that the last couple weeks have presented each of you with unexpected news. Classes that met face-to-face just days ago are going online for the rest of the semester, and you are not sure what that experience is going to be like.

As alumni and friends of µÛÍõ»áËù, you are undoubtedly paying attention to our decisions and prevention efforts in response to the evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.

This is a time of incredible uncertainty both on campus and in every facet of our lives. I would like to thank each of you for the hard work you are doing as we adapt to a situation like none we have experienced before.

The University of Northern Colorado has been actively monitoring the rapidly evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and providing regular updates to the µÛÍõ»áËù community as the situation changes.

Recently one of our residence halls was subject to a hateful and ignorant act of vandalism. A swastika was found carved into the plastic molding in one of the stalls in a common bathroom.

In the last few days, I have heard numerous concerns regarding upcoming reorganizations and feel it is important to share what I know right now.

As I review our recent accomplishments and write this end-of-semester message, I have been reflecting on my first month here last fall.
