Our history begins with the desire of Greeley’s citizens to establish a post-secondary school to address teacher preparation needs within our community and Colorado.

As we begin a new year and a new semester, each of us has a fresh opportunity to reflect on the collective impact we can make when we work together.

We continue to monitor the evolving circumstances regarding the Omicron variant of COVID-19 and I am writing today with additional updates in advance of the start of classes next week.

As another semester comes to a close, there are numerous accomplishments and successes to reflect upon.

While our roots remain strong as a leader in preparing teachers and school administrators, we have diversified our academic portfolio to include programs that prepare students to be leaders in a variety of fields in service of the common good.  

I want to thank everyone who participated in the Osteopathic Medical School Town Hall Thursday afternoon and offered their questions and perspectives about this project.

Welcome back! It’s so great to have our students, faculty, and staff on campus.

Shortly before my presidency began, there was discussion about the possibility of creating an osteopathic medical school at µÛÍõ»áËù run by a for-profit entity.

I am happy to announce the appointment of Dr. Lisa Vollendorf to serve as Interim Provost and Chief Academic Officer at µÛÍõ»áËù, effective July 1, 2021.

Today, President Joe Biden signed the Juneteenth National Independence Day Act into law, recognizing the commemoration as a federal holiday for the first time.
