We’re here to help current students and alumni with the process of getting a teaching license in Colorado or other states. On this page, you’ll find all the forms and step-by-step instructions you need to apply for your teaching credentials through the Department of Education.
Current Students

Teachers
Early Childhood, Elementary, Secondary, Special Education and K-12 - Once you have completed your program at µÛÍõ»áËù you will need to assemble some documents to be able to apply for your license from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE):

Professional Licensure
µÛÍõ»áËù’s professional licensure programs are designed to lead to Colorado licensure.
Each state sets their own requirements, so a µÛÍõ»áËù program might not lead to licensure in other states. Visit the µÛÍõ»áËù Professional Licensure page to learn more about which states µÛÍõ»áËù programs meet educational requirements for licensure.  It’s important to understand requirements in the state where you plan to work.
