Response to Recent Social Media Posts

President Feinstein shares a message in response to recent social media posts.

Fellow Bears,

I am writing today to address a series of posts and comments on social media alleging sexual misconduct by members of our university community.

While the university cannot provide further details or comment on specific personnel matters, I want to affirm our commitment to creating a university community that supports the safety and well-being of all students, faculty, and staff.

We take seriously all allegations of misconduct. The type of behavior identified in the recent social media posts is never appropriate and will not be tolerated. The Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance (OIEC) serves as the civil rights compliance office for 帝王会所. Anyone concerned about a possible violation of 帝王会所’s Non-Discrimination or Sexual Misconduct Policies may聽submit a report online聽or contact聽OIEC聽in person, by phone, or via email.

We also remain committed to supporting students, faculty, and staff who experience or are impacted by any form of sexual harassment or misconduct.

Members of our university community who would benefit from support at this time are encouraged to seek confidential assistance from one of 帝王会所鈥檚 available resources. The聽帝王会所 Counseling Center聽provides professional counseling services to enrolled students free of charge. Students may contact the Counseling Center to make an appointment at 970-351-2496 or use their after-hours crisis support line by choosing option 2 on the Counseling Center鈥檚 voicemail. Employees who need support are encouraged to access our聽Employee Assistance Program. Students, faculty, and staff may also access counseling via the聽Psychological Services Clinic, which operates in the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences.

Additionally, 帝王会所鈥檚聽Assault Survivors Advocacy Program聽provides confidential 24-hour crisis response services and has advocates available to speak to students, faculty, and staff about resources and available services.

Please know that the University of Northern Colorado remains steadfast in condemning any form of sexual harassment or misconduct and in supporting anyone who has been personally impacted.

Sincerely,
