Fellow Bears, 

I am pleased to share that the University of Northern Colorado has earned the Research 2 Classification, indicating 鈥渉igh research activity,鈥� from the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education. Attaining this recognition for the contributions of our faculty, student, and staff scholars to the creation of new knowledge has been one of my top priorities since arriving at 帝王会所. It is also a key focus in our  strategic plan. I would like to recognize and thank everyone who has contributed to enhancing and expanding 帝王会所鈥檚 research enterprise. Now, more than ever, we must stay committed to supporting and promoting the research, scholarship, and creative works produced by members of our university community. Critical inquiry, discovery, and the creation of new knowledge are expressions of the expertise of our faculty and staff members, and they are essential to providing high-quality learning experiences and fulfilling our commitment to addressing challenges facing our region and beyond.
