Using familiar images and studio-made scenes\, Shawn Bush shows how these systems shape what you see\, creating a sense of order while revealing that these structures are not as stable as they appear.

SUMMARY:Clay Creatures!
DESCRIPTION:Join Clay Club on October 22th from 4:30-6:30pm for a fun Halloween-themes activity! We will have a demo for first-time clay artists\, no outside experience required! Students will briefly learn about pyrometric cones and will then use them to create a clay creature of their own. The cones melt across the creatures during the firing process creating spontaneous and exciting effects with plenty of opportunity for experimentation. Students will get to take home their finished creatures! Materials and firing costs are just $10 per person. Grab a friend and learn something new!
